I’m delighted that there’s been a lot of interest and postive comment on my portraits – not only of the human kind – and inquiries about commissions so I’ve added this page to answer the questions to date – but first a couple of examples:

If you are interested in me doing a drawing for you just send an email using my Contact page with an image or two and a few words to explain what you are seeking. I’ll then reply with a design suggestion and an idea of cost.
You can see that the drawings above are not direct copies of the photos below, that decisions were made to improve on the composition and draw out (oops – pardon the pun) the emotional connection between parent and child. Click on the images to enlarge.

If after the design process you are happy to proceed you’ll need to make a 50% deposit before I begin. As I progress I’ll send images to make sure I’m in sync with your expectations. The remaining fee is due if you’re happy with the final image. I’ll then package and deliver the final drawing to you.
Please bear in mind that drawings like those above , done at a size of 20 cm by 30 cm (8″ by 12″), take approximately 24 hours to do.
