Peace, Love and Joy

to you and everyone.

Pink Galah With Gum Tree Branch

Galah With Gum Tree Branch

Pink and Greys (Galahs, also known as rose-breasted cockatoos) appear more frequently in the Perth Hills of Western Australia around Christmas time, so ย it seemed an appropriate bird to choose to bring you the best wishes of all – peace, love and joy for 2016.

Happy Christmas Helen ! Thinking of you in the glorious sunshine ๐Ÿ˜‰
Love those pretty Galahs … I guess we’re always waiting for the first spotting of a Cuckoo for Spring and these are your equivalent for Winter and Christmas .
    Enjoy the holidays !

Thanks Poppytump. We were lucky that Christmas Day was a glorious day and not too hot. If it’s any consolation the temperature here is again over 40 and likely to be the same for the next few days! All the best for 2016. ๐Ÿ™‚

Great sketch. Fantastic that we had at least three pairs around the bird baths this morning- competing with the resident Magpies ๐Ÿ˜€Xx
