Due to a sore back I stayed at camp on the 27th while the others went off to conquer the highest peak in the Stirling Ranges – Bluff Knoll.
I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine while sketching a view of the Porongurups from the caravan park – a complex view of dramatic, bare, granite outcrops, lush forest and scrubland.
