One Must Have Sunshine – #Inktober 2018 Day 31

We saw more yellow wildflowers on our way to Margaret River on the sunny 31st.  So we had it all – sunshine, freedom and a little flower!

Reaching For The Sun – #Inktober 2018 Day 30

The Valley Of the Giants Tree Top Walk in Tingledale, WA, on the 30th, was spectacular.  At the highest point one is 40 metres high but some of the more than 400 years old Tingle Trees are 70 metres high!

Camp Sunshine – #Inktober 2018 Day 27

Due to a sore back I stayed at camp on the 27th while the others went off to conquer the highest peak in the Stirling Ranges – Bluff Knoll.

I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine while sketching a view of the Porongurups from the caravan park – a complex view of dramatic, bare, granite outcrops, lush forest and scrubland.

When the others returned after their successful climb I was happy to be in a better state than they!

Playing In Sunshine – #Inktober 2018 Day 26

Day 26 we managed to walk from the caravan park to the Porongurups Village Store and Cafe – not very far!

We enjoyed morning coffee and scones in the garden.  Afterwards we played a long game of Chinese Chequers on a board painted onto a hexagonal table top, using painted bottle caps. Fun re-purposing!

Raining Sunshine – #Inktober 2018 Day 25

After 2 days of strenuous exercise we settled on a leisurely stroll (to ease our aching muscles) along a 1 km walk at the base of Castle Rock.  Wildflowers were abundant, especially the genus Chorizema with pea like flowers.  A yellow climbing variety hung down as if raining sunshine!
