The Grass Is Greener – #Inktober2019 Day 25

The grass is greener … where you water it.

In our case we water our vegetables, plants and trees and the grass grows although we have no lawn.  At least our chickens get to enjoy the grass.

Due to water restrictions in Western Australia limiting the days on which we can use our reticulation, hand watering is now almost a daily task as we move into late Spring.

I like the double meaning of the phrase – it’s an incentive to work with what you already have.
