Raining Sunshine – #Inktober 2018 Day 25

After 2 days of strenuous exercise we settled on a leisurely stroll (to ease our aching muscles) along a 1 km walk at the base of Castle Rock.  Wildflowers were abundant, especially the genus Chorizema with pea like flowers.  A yellow climbing variety hung down as if raining sunshine!

Sunshine Rocks – #Inktober 2018 Day 24

Remembering it as an easy trail, except for the last part, we climbed Castle Rock in the Porongurups on the 24th.  Either our memories or our bodies must have played a trick on us as it was a long slog up to the first lookout! The vertical climb from there up to the skywalk was well worth the struggle as the views in the sunshine were stunning.

In Case You’re Wondering -#Inktober 2018

imageI haven’t given up on Inktober, I’ve just been having way too much fun with hubby and friends in the South West of Western Australia!  We’ve been exploring, walking and partying in the Porongurups, Stirling Ranges, Peaceful Bay, Walpole and more. I’ve made time to sketch but not post, so look forward to me posting Inktober in  November!
