Garlic For A Potion – #Inktober 18

If you want to try the potion too here’s the recipe:

  1. Chop up a bulb of garlic.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of oil
  3. Cover and leave for 24 hours
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of liquid detergent to 1 cup of water
  5. Add water mix to the garlic mix and stir.
  6. Strain into a container and label – this is the concentrate.
  7. Addย 1 teaspoon of the concentrate to a litre of water in a spray bottle.
  8. Spray the aphids / mites.

Part of our reluctance to use garlic is because we don’t buy it, and we don’t want to use our delicious homegrown garlic on anything other than our food. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I feel the same way about homegrown garlic! Have to admit I bought a bulb of garlic for the purpose – figured it might even work better than homegrown on the pests ๐Ÿ˜‰
