I See Skies Of Blue – Inktober 2020 Day 1

This is my sixth year taking part in Inktober! As in previous years I’m not using the official prompt list. I like to set my own constraints. This year they are:

  • Blue and black inks
  • White paper – 14 sq cms
  • Calming content
  • Something about my day
  • Western Australian flora

Day 1 we returned from Southern Cross to home in the Perth Hills – on the way home after a lovely few days exploring the northern Goldfields with family. This day’s journey was 327 kms along the Great Eastern Highway – Route 94.

We left a sunny sky for a cloudy one, admiring the bush, the pastoral lands and wildflowers along the verge on the way. Blue China Orchid is a Western Australian wildflower but we didn’t see one on this trip. It’s getting late in the wildflower season – maybe next year!
